In an interview to the news reporter of Daily Times the Chairperson of Rawalpindi Board has  told the media that all the registration work for 9th class has been completed and it's result will be published online on August 15, 2013 and same can be checked from gazette which can be bought from board office by paying the fixed price on the said date morning. As every year all the eight educational boards of Punjab Province announces the result of all classes together on the same date, so lahore board will also publish the result of 9th class on 15 August 2013. After the independence of Pakistan, the intermediate and matriculation level exams were organized by University of Punjab, but now a days due to vast increment in the candidates number separate boards are created in all the said districts to make the examination procedure transparent and unbiased.

Board of intermediate & Secondary Education Lahore is the examination governmental body in the Lahore division and is responsible to control, organize and regulate the ssc part 1 exams throughout it's Jurisdictions.
