Position Holders: Today Nasarullah Virk the Chairman of Lahore Board has announced the names of the Position Holders of Matric in a prize distribution ceremony held at Children Library Complex Lahore at 06:00PM. This year the 1st position is shared by two boys Nashka Zulfiqar of Fauji Foundation Sangla Hill and Muhammad Sarmad Waqar of BeconHouse School both have scored 1021 marks out of 1050.Arsalan Tariq secured the 2nd Position with 1020 Marks while Sadaf Tariq of Cresent Model School Shadman clinched the 3rd Position by scoring 1019 Marks.

In a recent press release from The International News the finalized date for the result announcement of Secondary School Examination has been confirmed, and result will be dispatched tomorrow on Wednesday, 25th July. However the names of the  high achievers will be announced today in a Press Conference which is going to be held at  Children Library Complex Lahore. According to a special report it is believed that this year students would not be able to check their results from special stalls as the board has planned to distribute CDs instead of result gazette.

Nasir ul Allah Virk the Chairman of Bise Lahore has said to the news reporters on 22 July 2012 that all the preparations has been made and the result will be announced as per schedule on 25th July 2012, and all the Punjab Boards will declare the lists of Position Holders just one day before the result announcement date i.e on 24 July. The official timings for the announcement of position holders is 06:00PM on Tuesday. : In a latest press release the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Rawalpindi has announced that matric result 2013 will be declared online on 25th July. The chairman of Board Dr Muhammad Ashraf said in the interview that all the efforts has been made to deliver the error free results. The staff has checked the papers both through online paper marking system as well as manual systems. All the eight boards of Punjab Province including lahore board will announce the matric result on 25th July, 2012 on their official websites.

Update: Our news reporter has confirmed from the bise lahore representative that 10th class result 2012 is most likely to be declared in the end of July. So it is expected to be announced on 28th July or early as the officials have not yet decided the final date, in a few days the chairpersons of all Punjab education governing bodies will held a meeting to publicly announce the exact date of result announcement.
