Bise Lahore Board Top Position Holders 2013

On Tuesday at 06:00PM the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has announced the names of the high achievers in a press release held by Anwar Farooq (Controller of Examinations) and Mohammad Nasrullah Virk the Chairman of Bise. The official announcement of the result will be made on Wednesday (today) at Alhamra Hall No 2 at 10:00AM and Hamza Shahbaz Sharif will be the chief guest who will award the students with different prizes.


This is the first time in the history the board has checked all the papers and their will be no late results and it is a great achievement. In an interview Anwar Farooq revealed that this year total 209,427 students appeared in the examination while 6500 invigilators and teachers were involved in exam conducting and result compiling. Although he is very confident about the accuracy of the results, but still he apologized for any error occurred in the preparation of result.

All the precautionary measures have been taken by the examiners to make the result compilation fairly transparent, in reply of a question Anwar Farooq explained that he had no idea about the names of position holders before opening the envelope which contained the names of high achievers, mean he did not knew the result in advance.

This year the officials have verified the result three times before the official announcement and the marks are tallied from the computerized system and manual back up several times, so the chances of errors are quite less, but still every student has the right to get his papers rechecked if he is not satisfied with his marks. This year no gazette will be available on the local stalls, as the board will make the result available through CDs with a price of Rs.100. Only 100 hard copies of result will be created which will be available after two days of result announcement.

In Science group Muhammad Sarmad Waqar Hashmi a student of BeaconHouse Canal Side Campus and Nashka Zulfiqar of Fauji Foundation Model High School for Girls of Nankana Sahib both scored 1,021 marks out of 1,050 and are on first position in the Lahore board. While Arslan Tariq a student of Government Central Model School came 2nd with 1,020 marks and the third position is clinched by Sadaf Sarfraz a student of Crescent Model High School with 1,019 marks..

In Humanities group (Boys) Muhammad Aaqib Naseer came first with 978 marks while Hafiz Muhammad Usama stood 2nd with 966 marks, both belong to the Allama Iqbal Public Boys High School, Kasur while the third position was taken by Hafiz Adeel Ashraf a private candidate from Kasur he secured 956 marks.

In Humanities group (Girls) with 970 marks Ayesha Aslam stood first, she is the student of Government Model Girls High School, Okara. 2nd position was earned by a student of Farooqi Girls High School named Aamina Siddique, she scored 964 marks while Arooj Nasir of City District Government Girls High School clinched the third postilion with 960 marks.
